    Description

    Our flat fiberglass stove gasket, is coated with Vermiculite, for the best performance. Rated to 1,500 degrees, this seal measures 12 ft long x 1" wide x 1/8" thick. Included is a 2,000 degree stove adhesive cement, for a permanent seal. Used on wood coal and pellet stoves, fireplaces and many other high temp applications!

    This gasket has a relatively firm feel, due to the special coating. During the coating process it becomes slightly thinner than 1/8" inch, making it best for permanent installations on non moving parts.
    We sell many other types of gaskets; 1,000 degree, flat woven gasket that has "soft" feeling.  Nomex, 800 degree gasket, typically used for BBQ's.  We also have this Vermiculite gasket in 1/4" thick for high temp apps that require a thicker seal.
