Up for your consideration is a Vintage Pre-Owned Childs Sized Cup or Mug:
Vintage — Child’s Cup — Children’s Mug — Compliments of: Blevins Children’s Annex - Florence, Alabama. —
I have had these on display and I have never found anything on them that made me not want to display them :-)
Approximate Measurements:
Between 2 1/2 - 2 3/4” H from Table to rim of the cup
Between 2 1/2 - 2 3/4” W from side to side across the top of the cup without the handle
Between 3 1/2 - 3 3/4” with the handle
2 1/4” across the bottom no handle
The Handle is 2” L
Finger hold is between 3/4 -1 “ W
This is a vintage pre-owned item that has been around for a while. I have not been able to find any historic information on “Blevins Children’s Annex” to help me in the dating of the piece, as of yet and I have tried :-(. Everything that I have found suggests the time is the 1950’s.
Being vintage this item does have character/manufacturing marks that were common in vintage pottery. Most of them are under the glaze but there are a few that are not. Please see pictures and you will notice some. Nothing that kept me from enjoying the piece, but please make sure you feel the same before purchasing.
This is being sold as a Vintage Collectible and not an item to be used.
