Description

Antique Bausch and Lomb dipping refractometer. Condition is "Used". This instrument, which appears to be fairly old, still seems to be in excellent shape.  It is used to determine the refractive index of liquids.  In the case is an auxilliary prism and a small piece of glass inscribed with its refractive index 1.50342.  There is also an empty bottle of alpha-bromotoluene.
