This listing is for a 4 Door interior apartment style mailbox unit.
It can be used outdoors in a protected location. They cannot be outside in direct rain. They must be sheltered or your mail will get wet.  They cannot be used for curbside mail delivery.

Made entirely of aluminum, our 3500 series USPS approved 4B+ vertical mailboxes feature a durable powder coated finish available in five (5) contemporary colors

Vertical mailboxes can be either
SURFACE MOUNTED
on a wall or other flat surface or
RECESSED MOUNTED
into a rough opening. Each individual extruded aluminum door measures 5-1/2” W x 16-1/4” H. Each door includes a five (5) pin cylinder cam lock with two (2) keys. This style Vertical Mailbox is available with three (3) to seven (7) compartments. Each compartment is 6-3/4'' D.

HOW THEY WORK:
U.S. Post Office approved mailboxes like these need a Master Lock from your local Post Office. Call your local Postmaster for information about having a USPS Master Lock delivered and installed in your new mailbox. I've been told you should allow 2 weeks for the Post Office to have the lock installed.

Our vertical 3500 series mailboxes have been approved to the required security upgrades of USPS-STD-4B+ and are ideal for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings and many other applications.
Surface mounted
units mount directly to a wall or other flat surface and are secured with mounting hardware through the back panel.
VERTICAL MAILBOXES - RECESSED MOUNTED - U.S.P.S. ACCESS
Our vertical 3500 series mailboxes have been approved to the required security upgrades of USPS-STD-4B+ and are ideal for apartments, condominiums, commercial buildings and many other applications.
Recessed mounted
units fit into a rough opening and are secured with mounting hardware through the back or side panels. Recessed units feature a fully integrated flanged collar which fits over the rough opening. The rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is 1-1/2” less than the unit's width, 1-1/4” less than the unit's height and equal to the unit's depth.
OUTGOING MAIL SLOT
A 4-3/4'' W x 1/2'' H outgoing mail slot is also available as an option upon request by calling us at 1-800-330-3309. It will be located in the far left door of the unit unless otherwise specified. If a mail slot is requested, you will need to order a unit with one additional compartment than the total number of tenants receiving mail.  Outgoing mail doors are also .00 additional.

Ships from the manufacturer's California warehouse.  We always show every model as being available, since rarely they are not.  In the event of a delivery delay, you will be notified within 48 hours.
RETURNS:
These items do not get returned to our NY location.  They are always returned to the originating California warehouse.  You must call for a Return Goods Authorization Number and other important return details.
