Description
This listing is for a 1930's Glascock beverage cooler made for Coca Cola. According to Google, these units were first offered in 1929, and were popular throughout the 1930's. This one has the original side panels that say "Serve yourself, Please pay the clerk". I bought the cooler 25 years ago inwest T
exas. Some time before my purchase someone had done an amateur restoration; repainting the frame, and interior. Much longer ago, the original rim was replaced with galvanized iron. The bottle cap catch "tray", and the original casters are not with the cooler. All the tin advertising panels show wear, but are presentable as is. There are dings in the lid, as you would expect from an old unit. It currently sits on a table saw wheeled dolly for mobility. It measures approximately 31 1/2 inches long, 23 1/2 inches deep, and 36 inches tall. An uncommon Coca Cola item.
